UPDATE!!! As of March 2, 2020, Wise Dan leads a list of six horses to enter the Hall of Fame!!!
This would be a wonderful career topper for the TWO-TIME Horse of the Year!!!!
We are so happy here at Bet Thoroughbreds to announce Wise Dan Hall of Fame may be hi new moniker!! He tops a list of six horses for consideration into the Hall of Fame!
Welcome to Bet Thoroughbreds website on the two-time Horse of the Year, and multiple Eclipse winning Wise Dan racehorse! He was foaled on February 20, 2007, and was by Wiseman’s Ferry out of Lisa Danielle.
Wise Dan never raced as a two year old, so his racing career began in 2010 as a three year old and continued until 2014, when he was seven years old! In an era of time where racehorses usually retire at three after only a few races, it was refreshing to see this horse race for years. He was one of those racehorses that could gather a following! He raced for five years and ran in so many Graded Stakes that people were really able to get behind Wise Dan and become his fans!
He was the dream horse for owner/breeder Morton Fink and trainer Charles Lopresti who had both waited for a horse of a lifetime like Wise Dan!
Please take some time to read his biography, take a look at his extensive race record and check out his family tree and even check out some memorable race replays!
I hope you enjoy our homage to the great Wise Dan!
